The grass seedheads are glowing and yes, summer is fading fast or could even be gone. It's been chilly for a week now.
There is something magical about the evening August sun - it makes everything even more precious. Great shots.

August has really been pretty thus far. Usually it's miserable temperature-wise, but I have to say that it's been quite enjoyable this year. The weather this entire year has been odd every month, just not the norm I suppose you could say.

As always beautiful images!! The only way I know summer is fading is by looking at the calendar - only a few short weeks until school starts - weather wise -- heat index up to 108 - hottest week of the year - so we still have some time before we get a break. I think the only wildlife moving around outside are the cicadas - just too hot.
The sunflower and prairie scape caught my attention! I love the prairies, there s so much beauty in these wide open spaces. Always will be a prairie girl, right down to my toes! hope you will stop by, thanks for sharing!

Beautiful images and I love that golden light. Days are getting shorter, my flowers are fading and the acorns are already falling from the trees...I don't mind though, fall is my favorite season!
