I thought I'd share some song lyrics - the song came up on my iPod this weekend, they resonated with me and reminded me to be grateful for this beautiful life.
So swim to the end of the river
Until there's no shiver
Left in your spine
Live like there won't be tomorrow
See through your sorrow
See through your own eyes
Try to remember these days down the road and
Try to remember this time
The sun may come up and go down again
I'll still swear it's a beautiful life

ReplyDeleteSuch a perfect post for today.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Shirley.
Such a soft, soothing shot for troubled times. The poem is lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely image to illustrate the lovely words.
ReplyDeleteOooh, it was so awful - I couldn´t sleep until I had reached all those I know in America that I know run marathons from time to time. So heartbreaking. Can´t understand things like that. :-(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossom picture and lovely song lyrics to share.
ReplyDeleteLife is truly beautiful, even in the midst of sorrow. Beautiful photo and texture!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful quote and a gorgeous image. Bless you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture. I'm going to look up the song to hear, but the words are just right. I see why they got your attention.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Wonderful lyrics, very fitting.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty but sad -- I just don't know anymore. Every day seems to bring another act of desperation. But life does go on, doesn't it.
