Blossom White

Slowly, the spring blooms are starting to emerge. I might even classify that they are tentatively emerging, with continued cooler temperatures we are experiencing, but spring is starting to reveal herself.

I'm disclosing that I took this photo while standing in a parking lot, behind a row of cars. I wish I took it while enjoying a peaceful walk in the woods, but I take what I can get. It just illustrates that beauty is all around us.

A couple days ago, I post photos of my neighbor's redbud tree. This one is the same species of tree, but it has white flowers, something I've never seen before.

Have you ever seen a white flowering redbud? I wonder if they are considered rare.

    I am so anxious to see blossoms and leaves on the trees. Sadly, we are just barely starting to get signs of spring on the trees now.

    I walked out to our orchard today for the first time in awhile and noticed our serviceberry trees are almost blooming. Yay! Something other than daffodils to photograph. :)

    Love both of the spring bloom photos! ....the color version is my preference at the moment, it's such a pretty picture of Spring (and don't we need her to reveal all her lovely colors once and for all ;)

    I'm catching up on your latest posts! I have never seen anything but a red redbud...I love the delicate flowers on the stems. And the foal...still hoping to own a horse someday. At 55, I better start making plans!
