Blossom White
Slowly, the spring blooms are starting to emerge. I might even classify that they are tentatively emerging, with continued cooler temperatures we are experiencing, but spring is starting to reveal herself.
I'm disclosing that I took this photo while standing in a parking lot, behind a row of cars. I wish I took it while enjoying a peaceful walk in the woods, but I take what I can get. It just illustrates that beauty is all around us.
Same tree, different processing - a bit of a sepia, monotone effect:
A couple days ago, I post photos of my neighbor's redbud tree. This one is the same species of tree, but it has white flowers, something I've never seen before.
Have you ever seen a white flowering redbud? I wonder if they are considered rare.

I've taken a few shots from parking lots too. Taking what you can get is sometimes a big part of life. xox
Shirley, these are wonderful, especially the sepia-toned one.
Our spring blossoms have come and gone. Yours are beautiful. I'll enjoy them once again through you.
These are gorgeous shots, Shirley. You are so right that beauty is all around us, if we only take the time to look.
I am so anxious to see blossoms and leaves on the trees. Sadly, we are just barely starting to get signs of spring on the trees now.
Beautiful photos Shirley. I like the editing you used. We don't have red bud trees here so I can't help you with your question. Blessings, Pamela
Hello Shirley
I love your first photo and unless you had told us, I would have imagined you were on a leisurely morning walk through a lovely park!

beautiful! :)
I walked out to our orchard today for the first time in awhile and noticed our serviceberry trees are almost blooming. Yay! Something other than daffodils to photograph. :)
Love both of the spring bloom photos! ....the color version is my preference at the moment, it's such a pretty picture of Spring (and don't we need her to reveal all her lovely colors once and for all ;)
Beautiful little signs of spring - not much has happened here yet but I hope it will soon...
I'm catching up on your latest posts! I have never seen anything but a red redbud...I love the delicate flowers on the stems. And the foal...still hoping to own a horse someday. At 55, I better start making plans!
