Landslide

I can't get that darn Budweiser Clydesdale ad out of my mind. I just read the foal featured in the ad has been named Hope.

Here's the link to the news story off Yahoo.

And since we can't get enough horsey love, here are [more] photos of the horses I get to see on a regular basis. These guys are always out in the pasture on Sunday afternoons. The snow didn't deter them from finding something to graze on. I love their snow covered muzzles.

Stand Tall

Sideways Glance

Why the Long Face

Finally, the entire Landslide song, performed impeccably by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac.

I took my love and I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around

And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Mmm Mmm...

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I'm getting older too

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I, I built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I'm getting older too
I'm getting older too

So, take my love, take it down
Oh climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring you down, down

And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe the landslide will bring it down
Oh oh, the landslide will bring it down

  2. I did love that commercial too!
I think I've watched it on YouTube 10 times or more now. :-)
Budweiser never disappoints with those commercials.

Your photographs are just beautiful, and I love this song.

    Have a wonderful evening!

  3. One of my all-time favorite songs! And those photos are so beautiful (could not see the first shot). The commercial was the best...cried like crazy but also loved the Dodge Ram/farmer commercial.
