A stray gray hair here and there, and even some wrinkles.
[you may not be able to spot that gray strand, but it's there and it catches my eye every now and then...]

A much needed break from the daily grind. My escape to warm Florida came at the perfect time.
Strength.
I've suffered a bit of a set back with my running - as a result, I've had to cut back and focus on building more strength in my left leg. At first, I was sad, but I realize that it will all come in good time.
The blessings of home and family. My kitchen rocks, especially during the holiday season when there's so much to do.
[Now, if only I could clone myself ..... wait, I don't think my kids would like the double nagging that certainly would ensue!]

I had fun with this month's selfie challenge - and for that I am truly grateful for the [in the picture] challenge headed by Christy. You can find out more about this challenge at her site.
All great reasons to be grateful and my favourite is the kitchen shot!
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool idea for the double-you shot! And I agree that those are all reasons to feel grateful.

That last shot is so much fun-yah, and the nagging. Hmmmm. Hope your leg starts to come around. These things take time. Being thankful for a gray hair If that were me, I'd be extra thankful-they're making themselves known more and more. Happy weekend Shirley.
ReplyDeletethese are all so wonderful. i'm sorry to hear about your setback with running but it seems you have a good attitude about it. oh, and i have those stray gray hairs starting to pop out too :) thanks for linking up this month.
ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen, mine is so tiny! :-(
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, love the strength shot and your attitude toward your disruption to your running. There's always something that stops us from meeting our goals & I thin that going with the flow works best.
ReplyDeletelove them all. would it be great to have a few clones now and then?
ReplyDeleteI love all your "thankfuls" and your images are such great illustrations. I really like the one where you are sitting next to the Buddha. And that last one is clever - at first I thought you had a twin!
ReplyDeleteOne gray strand? Hm, I think I might have one or two colored strands left.... :-)
