Family Visit
Last week, we traveled out east to visit with family - the kids haven't seen their cousins in three years. It's so hard to coordinate schedules these days, so it was nice to get most of our immediate family back together again.
Even after three years, the cousins picked up right where they left off, whether it be at the beach, the backyard or wherever the day should lead us.
This visit was made more special by the two kittens my sister's family adopted. This one is Milo.
Finally, there is the obligatory photo with the grandparents that I had to take the morning we left. Anyone who knows me realizes that I have to take several captures of the same scene, but I always end with a silly shot - it helps the group put up with my "one more time" requests.
I have no idea what was said or done to elicit these smiles, but I'm glad it happened because this is now a favorite of mine.
The cousins are already plotting the next time they can all get together. It may take another year, but we are looking forward to it.

Absolutely love those 'grandparents shot'...so natural!
That is so sweet...the cousins picking up where they left off. I don't know if it's obligatory, though I am glad that you captured those last two shots. What great photos...they make me grin, too.
What a lovely happy blog post, and such a summery mosaic. That little kitten is soooo cute!
Visits with cousins are always special. And I love the funny photos - they show so much more personality than the more sedate, posed ones.
Such wonderful times, those spent with family~
