For the Love of Golf - TPC Sawgrass

The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, starts today, and in honor of what has been dubbed the "fifth major", I'm posting the photos I took while visiting the course two weeks ago.

The clubhouse serves as a massive cornerstone of the course. Built in 2007, this Mediterranean style beauty overlooks the 9th and 18th holes.

Our party had the privilege of enjoying the view from the 2nd floor balcony.

The clubhouse is full of memorabilia, including a display of each tournament winner's club of choice:

There is a constant reminder of the golf greats that have taken on the course and won.

TPC Sawgrass Famous 17th Hole

Maybe one day, the hubby and I will be able to go and play it ourselves. Heaven knows, I'll be sure to take plenty of extra water balls for Hole 17 (and 18!).
