The Beautiful Prairie

There are days when the wind howls and blows across this flat land, the endless gray skies and treeless prairie strain the eyes.

Then we have mornings like this one, which started out foggy but burned off to a sky of spun silk and golden sun.
Spun in the Sky

Instead of taking the main road to work, I headed down a back road which took me past this cool shed / barn.
The Barn

Both photos were taken with my iPhone4s and adjusted slightly using Photogene2.

  4. Wow, I love the sky in these amazing images.

I see from your gear that you own a 70-300mm nikkor lens. I'm thinking of buying one. What do you think of it.

  12. Your pictures just draw me in! I know I've said it before, but this Southern California girl loves looking at that blue sky without the ever famous smog layer under it. haha. Great shots. I definitely have Instagram/iPhone envy. =(
