My parents have been visiting China on an extensive tour of Southern China. They've embraced technology and have been emailing my sisters and me pictures from several of their destinations. I thought it would be fun to share some of their pictures here.
The Dai Li Temple:
The holy mountain in Li Giang, Yunnan, elevation 13000 ft:
I love how it's snowing there - Wow!
Next, the Gold Sand River in Yunnan province, the origin of the Yangtze River. It is so narrow that a tiger can jump over the gorge, hence the name tiger jumping gorge.
Into Tibet - Lhasa's Holy Lake:
And Potala Palace, Lhasa, Tibet
It looks like a great trip!
