It's been a while since I participated in Mosaic Monday, a photo get together hosted by Mary at Little Red House.
My simple mosaic of Summer Flowers
After nine straight days of searing heat, the weather broke today and even dumped a couple inches of rain on our dried up lawn. It felt so good to feel the cool, damp breeze outside.
I hope the weather has cooled off where you are.
Beautiful flowers and your photos are gorgeous. I am happy you had some much needed rain. We could use some rain here too. Great mosaic, have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAfter weeks of cool weather and rain, we got some of your sunshine up here yesterday - so we can both be happy!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms. I'd like some of that rain, too!
ReplyDeleteIt did break. Just today. We were so grateful.
ReplyDeleteLovely mosaic. I love summer posies and can never see enough.
I love the flower on the top right. Such a pretty color. I'm glad you have some cooler weather - ours is finally warming up and I'm so very thankful.

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flower! Thank you for your visit and kind words! And, indeed, here in IN it is cooler this morning! The rain last night was a pleasant change! Wishing you well! Cathy
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely mosaic Shirley! Glad to hear you had a brief respite from the heat. Don't you just love the smell of earth right after rain?
ReplyDeleteHello, Shirley. Fortunately, there was rain here this morning, a great thunderstorm's worth. Your mosaic is lovely, I also peeked around some other posts, like the one that showed the wonderful book you created; that must have been a very satisfying project. Thanks for visiting my blog.
