More Changes...... and Some Headaches

I know change is good, but sometimes change comes with headaches.

Like finding out that all the blog links and comments I had with this blog have been nuked. [Where is that emoticon banging its head against the wall??]

The change? I moved this Blog's hosting to a custom domain, www.shirleybehindthelens.com (notice - no blogspot in the url!).

I expected I would have to work through some issues. The new domain didn't work for a month, and I finally took some time out to research things this afternoon. The fix was quite simple, but you know, it takes time to figure out what a DNS is, what a CNAME is and how to get that information from your domain.

I know blog list can be recreated (but what a pain!). Hopefully, I'll remember all of them!

And as for the comments. This will prompt me to install Disqus for commenting for more interaction. Wish me luck as I attempt this!
