Team Up Thursday - Favourite Chore

Lee chose this week's theme and when she emailed me with "Favourite Chore", I thought she was getting back at me for last week's "Pastel" theme (only kidding). It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to take a picture of! I even looked up the definition of "chore", because it has such a negative connotation, that I thought "Favourite Chore - that seems like an oxymoron!". But "daily task" is the main definition.

So here we go - Our Favourite Chores -

Lee's is on the left, mine is on the right. Obviously, Lee likes laundry and I like cooking (at least most days).

On Thursdays, I team up with my friend, Lee for Team-Up Thursdays, a creative venture started by Melody and Megan. Each week, one of us picks a theme, we each take a picture and combine the two into a diptych.

    Ew, oh. Yea, I don't really like either of those. ;) I would surely give up cooking in a heartbeat. I always say that the ultimate gift to me would be a personal chef. But I do love your lemon zest shot because I can really smell the lemon. And the color, one of my faves. Hmm, my favorite chore? Maybe cleaning the kitchen. Even though it is truly a chore I love the way the house looks when the kitchen is completely clean.

    how can you make even zesting a lemon look so arty & sexy??? that is a great shot. love the DOF and the beautiful texture of the zest. this doesn't mean i'm a cooking convert (hate it), but i'm going to pretend that you were making a yummy lemon dessert -- i can totally get behind baking:)!

    Great theme! I love zesting lemons too, but my daughter loves it too...so she gets to do it:)

    I am terrible at themes because I often can't remember to do them.
