POTD - Egg Hunt

A dreary, cold day for an egg hunt, but the kids were outside for all of 3 minutes to gather up the 800 eggs we "hid".

One of my helpers set this egg in the branches of our Hawthorn tree. I loved how it brightened up the dreary day.

Oh, no one guessed the song from the 90s that fit the "Oh, Baby" theme - it was Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time". (Oh Baby, Baby, How was I supposed to know? Oh Pretty Baby, I shouldn't have let you go)

Aww man, I didn't know we were supposed to guess! I would totally have gotten that one! ;) I love this shot, the bokeh behind the branch is so lovely and I really like the turquoise egg against the green grass! :)

Great shot! I love the color of the egg. It really does brighten up the tree.

Love the tree.

Love this shot! The color really pops, and I like seeing the hint of a couple of other eggs (?) in the bokeh.

The color of the egg is so pretty against the background. Isn't it amazing how long it takes to hide the eggs and how quickly they're found?! :)
