114/365 - POTD - Evening Sky
A cold, dreary day. Time to retreat back under the wool blankets. Today's baseball games were canceled due to the rain and wet fields. So I was exempt from working the Snack Shack in the cold. Even the kids just want to burrow on the couch and watch TV. We're watching the the Cubs play the Reds. Thinking about it makes me cold.
The evening sky as the clouds start to clear away:
My orchids are starting to bloom again. Attempted macro without a macro lens.
Nest update:
Another light blue egg has appeared, so we're up to 6 eggs. Of course, we'll take another peak tomorrow.
Shirley, lovely delicate tones to that sky! Love the difference between those and the clouds. What a pretty orchid you have--such vibrant tones. I am impressed it is re-blooming for you. You must have a green thumb!!
wow, beautiful flower shot!! love the colors!
I just love how many colors are in the sky shot...WOW. Almost like a painting.
Isn't it weird how the eggs are two different types? Is that normal? Or is another bird hijacking the nest-builder's nest? Some birds do that. Your blog has become a nature show. Is that cool or what?
Love your flower shot and great silhouette on the sky photo.
wow - that orchid is so beautiful!
What a nice contrast, the orchid and the foreboding sky! And I'd keep a careful eye on those bird eggs if I were you. . . who knows what will happen!
